Water Damage in Hamilton, Ohio
The finished basement of this home in Hamilton, Ohio was damaged extensively by water after a water main break. The SERVPRO of Northwest Cincinnati water technicians arrived onsite and found that the walls and carpeting were saturated. After obtaining approval to begin the restoration process, the technicians removed the carpeting, padding and baseboards. They also cut out the lower, damaged portions of the drywall. Exposing the inner cavities of the walls allows for more thorough drying. They set up several industrial strength air movers and dehumidifiers in the affected areas. The equipment was monitored until the dryout process was complete. Once the moisture levels were acceptable, all the equipment was removed and the area was ready for the structural repairs to begin.
