Mold Damage in Milford, Ohio

Mold thrives on moisture and can often become an issue following water damage in a home. There was water damage at this home in Milford, Ohio and as a result, visible mold was found. The home owner quickly called SERVPRO of Northwest Cincinnati for mitigation services. Before beginning mitigation, our crews placed containment barriers in the area. This helps prevent the mold from spreading throughout the home. Wearing protective gear, they proceeded to remove the drywall, insulation, and base molding underneath the window. They removed the non-salvageable carpet and padding and bagged all debris for removal. An anti-microbial agent was applied to the surfaces. This agent helps to prevent the mold from returning. Once the clean up was complete, all debris was hauled away and the area was ready for the structural repairs.
