Main Waterline Break Causes Water Damage to Finneytown, Ohio Warehouse

A commercial warehouse near Finneytown, Ohio experienced extensive damage when a car accident caused the main waterline to break. The entire 27,000 square foot building was affected. The basement of the building filled with over two feet of water and the loading dock filled with 3-4 feet of water. Because a dirt floor was located near the water pipe, mud coated the flooring throughout the main level of the warehouse. The SERVPRO of Northwest Cincinnati crews worked tirelessly to extract and clean the floors and get the warehouse back to working order. Drywall and wet insulation had to be removed. Pumps were necessary to extract water from the dock, elevator shaft, and basement. Drying equipment was used in the basement and throughout other areas of the large warehouse.
