Water Damage Can Lead to Mold Infestation..Act Quickly!

The sump pump in this home in Cincinnati, Ohio was overwhelmed when the unfinished basement flooded with approximately one to two feet of water and raw sewage and it just couldn’t keep up! In situations like this, if not acted upon quickly, a mold infestation can also result, increasing the expense of the damage for the homeowners. The before photo shows the affected area after much of the water had receded but the raw sewage was left behind. The SERVPRO water technicians extracted any remaining water and thoroughly cleaned the area by pressure washing and using a chemical spray. The after photo shows the same area after the SERVPRO technicians completed the project.
